True ‘dat yo.Seriously, I couldnt agree with you more if I tried. I stick primarily to underground music, where its not “cool” to sell out. I do like alot of trendy stuff, but not because everyone else likes it. I cant help but dance to some popular songs either, at a bar, when Im wasted.

I don’t like either one to be perfectly honest. But to answer your question, I would choose the Otis Redding song. “Fall” will be over done since it’s a new song and every other couple will dance to it at their wedding. Can’t go wrong with a classic.

Here is a list of classic wedding processional songs. If you hire musicians they could play them all easily!1. “Moonlight Sonata” Beethoven2. “Water Music” Handel3 . “The Four Seasons” Vivaldi4. “Greensleeves” Traditional5. “Ave Maria” Schubert6. “Isn’t It Romantic” Glenn Miller7. “As Time Goes By (A Kiss Is Just A Kiss)” Tony Bennett8. “Unchained Melody” The Righteous Brothers9. “Rhapsody In Blue” Gershwin10. “God Only Knows” The Beach Boys

You have a child with some talent developing skills. Congrats to you! Alot of what you are talking about comes from what you may have listened to while you were pregnant with him! A baby hears everything while in their mother womb. Be glad he is listening to the old school music! Most of today’s music is way to harsh for kids to even listen to!!

According to a commenter on Amazon.com who bought the CD of the soundtrack, it is Odis Redding’s version that is absent from the track. http://www.amazon.com/Pretty-Pink-Original-Picture-Soundtrack/dp/B000002GD2Too, IMDb sites this in their soundtrack listing for the movie:”Try a Little Tenderness”Written by Harry M. Woods (as H. Woods), J. Campbell and Reginald Connelly (as R. Connelly)Performed by Otis ReddingCourtesy of Atlantic Recording Corp.By Arrangement with Warner Special Productshttp://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091790/soundtrack

Sounds like you have a very sweet relationship with your fiance. Here are a few songs that I can suggest. My husband and I danced to Find Yourself by Brad Paisley. It had special meaning for us and beautiful words if you want to check it out.And – even if your first dance song is about breaking up that is okay as long as it has a meaning to you. My friends choose a song about breaking up because they had a breakup when they were dated – but it made them both stronger and go them to where they were that day. First Dance:All My Life – KC & Jo-JoUnchained Melody – Righteous BrothersAt Last – Etta JamesEverything I do – Bryan AdamsI Want To Know What Love Is – ForeignerTake My Breath Away – BerlinTruly, Madly, Deeply – Savage GardenLandslide – Fleetwood MacYou’re The Inspiration – ChicagoOne More Night – Phil CollinsYou’ll Be In My Heart – Phil CollinsThe Way You Look Tonight – Michael BubleWonderful Tonight – Eric ClaptonIntroduction Music:Tenderness – General RepublicBeautiful Day – U2Power of Love – Huey LewisWalk This Way – AerosmithYou’re The One That I Want – Olivia Newton-John & John TravoltaCelebration – Kool & The GangWalking on Sunshine – Katrina and The Waves

I used to do this dance all the time in the middle school dances, good times… anyways…What’s up * Dallas what’s upShake right * Shake left shake rightPretty much swing right (and pause), swing left swing right. Then when the “jump on it” part comes up, you jump up and down, swinging your arm in the air, rotating at the same time.
